FIND THE WORD

Before an animal can be returned to the wild, a rehabilitator must find the best place to release it.  The animal must be returned to the kind of place it lived before it was hurt.  It must also be released where there is the kind of food it eats and the kind of shelter it needs.  Then, the rehabilitator will wait for a time when the weather is good.  He will also need to choose the time of day when the animal is normally active.  Because it is nocturnal, a barn owl can be release at night.  A burrowing owl should be release during the day because it is diurnal.
