The sections of the IWRC Bylaws that deal with committees state that:
Committees tend to be active or dormant depending on the current focus of the organization. For example: if IWRC were planning to hire a new Executive Director, the Personnel, or Selection Committee would become active until the new employee was hired. In many cases, the Chair of a committee is a member of the Board of Directors. Where this is not the case, a Board member is appointed as Liaison to the committee, so that the committee will have representation at Board meetings. The list below shows the current IWRC Committees, and whether they are active or dormant at this time. Clicking on the Charter or Job Desc. column will provide a popup with the committee charter, or the job description of the Chair of the committtee. If the Committee Chair and Liaison are different, the Liaison will be in brackets below the Chair. If there is a Yes in the Seeking New Members column, the committee is not full. If you feel that you would be interested in this committee, please read the charter and Chair job description. If you still feel that you have the necessary skills and would like to volunteer for this committee, click Yes to contact the Committee Chair, and provide a short bio. Please note that the final decision as to committee membership rests with the President, as per IWRC Bylaws.
